Wabi-sabi belongs to the category of Zen-Buddhist styles. It is also one of the styles with purity of shape. Space designed in this style is undisturbed by negative influences, among which may be considered large numbers of ornaments, books, a lot of furniture etc. Wabisabi is a style which is as though incomplete. For this reason, pictures are placed on shelves, materials are left raw and unworked. In purity of shape, definite nuances are found in roughness and imperfection of materials.
