Industrial style find out more

The Industrial style was established in the 19th Century, when factories were closing in England, and manufacturing was gradually moving to the East. Abandoned factory space gave rise to the development of a new type of residence and to the style itself. Today, the legendary Docklands are among the most expensive residential areas in England and other countries previously involved in the shipping industry, despite the fact that the residences are in buildings which were previously factories. The original industrial style should therefore be set in authentic space such as factory space. However, today it is often translated into a similar look, in different types of space to which it didn´t originally belong.
